William Denson Pearman, known as Denny to his friends, passed away on November 2, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones at McAlester Regional Health Center.
Denny was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend. He would be the first person to help a stranger and expect nothing in return. He was a kind, gentle, selfless man who will be missed dearly. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on August 6, 1961 to Joyce and William S. Pearman.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Karen Pearman; his children and grandchildren, John Hardy and Emily Fry and their children Matthew and Kailey Hardy; Katie (Hardy) and Douglas Block and their children Brendan Kihlstrom and Dillon Block; Hannah and Bryan Hulseberg; Samuel and Kimberly Pearman and their child Aspyn Pearman; mother-in-law, Donna Shepherd; adopted mom Wynonna Williamson; siblings and spouses, Wanda and Bill Viner, Darrel Pearman, Donna and Ronnie Fox, Regina and Robert Gwin, Ranae Moody and Minde Shoquist; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2018 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester with Eli Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow at Blanco Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to disabled children or veterans.
Active pallbearers will be his sons and grandsons, John Hardy, Samuel Pearman, Douglas Block, Bryan Hulseberg, Dillon Block, Matthew Hardy and Brendan Kihlstrom.
